We outsource durable plating ranging between 1 - 2.5 microns. All plated items fade in time, revealing the base metal underneath. Color can be prolonged and maintained with proper storage (keeping in cotton bag or jewelry box), not wearing in water and gently wiping down oil/sweat residue after each wear. Avoid wearing jewelry in water. All brass/bronze and sterling silver items tarnish naturally overtime. To bring back shine, polish with a polishing cloth or wash with Dawn soap and water. We recommend MAAS Jewelry Polish and Sunshine Polishing Cloths.
